John McCarthy began representing workers in employment law cases in 2010, focusing on fighting wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination. From the start, he was dedicated to standing up for individuals against powerful corporations. Over time, John expanded his practice to include personal injury cases, inspired by his passion for helping underdogs and his own experiences with the devastating effects of bike and motorcycle accidents.
In 2020, after the birth of his daughter, John and his wife returned to the Central Coast to be closer to family. Since then, he has continued his mission to provide compassionate counsel and zealous advocacy, representing clients in employment and personal injury cases at home, on the Central Coast, throughout California, and Wisconsin, teaming with top lawyers throughout the United States to provide the best service possible. Whether fighting for workers' rights or helping injury victims rebuild their lives, John is committed to making a difference for the people and communities he serves.
John started his legal career under a legendary local trial lawyer, representing folks in employment, personal injury, and criminal defense. When changes at the firm forced him into Family Law, he went to a boutique employment defense firm representing large agricultural employers.
But, that never set well with John and so he hung out his shingle in 2010 to represent folks who had been hurt by others, especially soulless corporations. Since then he has represented people who have been wronged throughout California, and Wisconsin recovering millions for his clients.
